My Hobby
The word “hobby” means an activity that a person does for pleasure. Different persons have different interests and likes. Every person has a hobby. A hobby is something that a person likes to do in spare time. It is different from a regular job or profession. Some of the common hobbies are collecting stamps , collecting coins, taking photographs , painting, visiting new places, writings, reading novels and stories, etc. Everybody enjoys their spare time according to their interests.
My hobby is reading. I am found of reading story books, magazines, newspapers and kind of material that I find interesting. Reading enables me to learn about the wonders of the world, space travel, human achievements etc. Reading newspapers and magazine provide us with latest information and facts happening all around the world. I am also interested in reading novels of different popular writers. Similarly, I have good collection of famous novels books and magazines.
Finally , hobby is not for money but for pleasure. Hobbies teach us to be busy not idle. It divides us away from boredom and wrong thinking which may pollute our minds. Hobbies are very useful for us.
